Remo D'Souza wants Madhuri Dixit for Navrang remake

Choreographer-turned-director Remo D'Souza has expressed his desire to do a film with actress Madhuri Dixit, which would be on the lines of noted filmmaker V Shantaram's classics Navrang and Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje.

"I am working on a film that I want to do with Madhuri. It is a musical on the lines of Navrang, Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje, but revisited now," said Remo. Navrang is a 1959 film by legendary filmmaker V Shantaram. The film had Shantaram's wife Sandhya in the lead.
