Out of the mouth of straight men

I recently decided that my boyfriend needs a scarf. I don't really 'do' non snood scarves so I thought I would introduce the concept of a snood slowly.  Since he has two jackets that he wears a lot and one is blue and the other black, it has to be a color that would match both.
So I found this one from Topman which ticks all the boxes.

I described this to him and he asked what color it was.

I described it as biscuit.

He asked, 'Is that brown?!?!?!??!'
